Arthur Ford (1897- 1971)
An American psychic who gained prominence in 1967 when he supposedly contacted the dead son of a Minister on network TV.
He practiced trance mediumship to communicate with the spirit self-named “ Fletcher”. Ford founded the Spiritual Frontiers Fellowship ( SFF) in 1955.
And it was "Fletcher" that proclaimed that Sun Myung Moon was a teacher, a voice for the "Spirit of Truth". In a sense, he proclaims that Moon is a Christ-like figure, but this is somewhat diluted with his other claims that there have been and will be, many voices of the Spirit of Truth.
Ford later visited the Moonies personally. In summary, Ford/Fletcher did not proclaim Moon as the unique "Christ" or "Savior" or even validate Moon as the "True Parents", but he did call Moon a teacher for the New Age and admonished those present to attend Moon and sit at his feet and learn from him.
